And then there were none

Its a short review but it definitely explains all.First there were ten: a group of strangers invited to a private island, cut off from the rest of the world(which is quite scary), who have nothing in common – except a murderous past. Then there were none: one by one, an unknown person is killing them off(i really got confused with the end). They’re the only people on the island, so they must assume the murderer is one of them, and only the dead are above suspicion. Or are they? Agatha Christie’s chilling, thrilling mystery novel, And Then There Were None, will leave readers on the edge of their seats, turning the pages for more.

According to the survey, this is one of the best novels written by Agatha Christie, the queen of crime novels.I loved this novel as there were minimum characters and you could always be clear with them. But i didn`t understand the end, maybe i was not concentrated enough to notice who the murderer was,but yes when i read it again i understood that. Its a must read novel for all who love crime and thriller novels.

I`ll rate it a 9.5/10 as it kept me entertained and thrilled me till the end.Do read it and tell me how you found this book.According to me its a fantabulous book.So happy reading to all the bookaholics. 🙂

Murder on the Orient Express

A man called Ratchett is murdered on the Orient Express.
He turns out to be a gangster known as Cassetti, who
killed three members of the same family (the Armstrongs)
and one of their employees. A Belgian detective, Poirot,
investigates. There are many confusing clues, but
he eventually discovers that all the passengers and a
conductor are in some way connected to the Armstrong
family and twelve of them are guilty of the murder. Poirot
decides not to tell the police, however, presumably because
he believes they are justified in their actions.

This was my first novel by Agatha Christie. Thanks to our school that recommended us to read this as a supplementary reading book. This book is very complicated as it has a list of characters of which u`ll definitely lose a track if u do not write it down somewhere. But those with good memory dont need to.This book is excellent as it has many elements and definitely a lot of mystery, confusion and suspense.I find it as one of the best crime novels i have ever read.So i`ll rate it a 9/10.Do read it tell me ur reviews, dont be lazy to just press the like button and not comment. 🙂 So happy reading to all the bookaholics.

Sleeping Murder

Soon after Gwenda moved into her new home, odd things started to happen.Despite her best efforts to modernise the house, she only succeeded in dredging up its past.Worse, she felt an irrational sense of terror every time she climbed the stairs….

In fear,Gwenda turned to Miss Marple to exorcise her ghosts.Between them, they were to solve a ‘perfect’ crime committed many years before.

Sounds creepy, yeah i know but its an amazing novel written by Agatha Christie.Miss Marple is a detective who solves the crime cases in Agatha Christie`s book.Either its Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple. The difference between the two detectives is that Miss Marple`s cases are less complicated than Hercule Poirot.I`ll rate it a 10/10.It`s an amazing novel and a must read.Do read it and tell me your reviews.Happy reading to all the bookaholics. 🙂

Death on the Nile

Crime novels are the second best that i love to read apart from vampires. So this is one of the best crime novel i have ever read written by Agatha Christie. She is the crime queen and hence many of her novels are worth reading. If you are not planning to read this novel,u can watch the movie. Its equally amazing.

The tranquility of a cruise along the Nile was shattered by the discovery that Linnet Ridgeway had been shot through the head. She was young, stylish and beautiful.A girl who had everything until she lost her life. This case is solved by one of Agatha Christie`s crime solver/detective Helcule Poirot.

This book is somewhat different and very promising. You`ll love to watch the movie to understand the characters better.I`ll rate it a 10/10 for its contents and the mystery it has.We also have a game based on Death on the Nile, i have played this game and its wonderful.Do try it and tell me ur reviews. Its a must read novel for those who love mystery and crime novels.

Digital Fortress-by Dan Brown

When the United States National Security Agency‘s code-breaking supercomputer (TRANSLTR)-(u pronounce it as translator) encounters a new and complex code—Digital Fortress—that it cannot break, Commander Trevor Strathmore calls in Susan Fletcher, their head cryptographer, to crack it. She discovers that it was written by Ensei Tankado, a former NSA employee who became displeased with the NSA’s intrusion into people’s private lives. Tankado intends to auction the code’s algorithm on his website and have his partner, “NDAKOTA”, release it for free if he dies. Essentially holding the NSA hostage, the agency is determined to stop Digital Fortress from becoming a threat to national security. It`s a science-fiction,techno thriller novel.

So,before last October i never expected to read any of Dan Brown`s novels. This was gifted to me on my birthday by one of my friends who know`s i love novels. So i started reading it.I don`t know why but i had this impression in my mind that Dan Brown writes mystery novels. And i have read some novels by Agatha Christie so i found them very interesting but at the same time very complicated to keep a track. So i thought maybe this will turn out to be the same. But wait till u start reading it,its an amazing,min-blowing,wonderful,brilliant(forgot more words) novel.

And wait till u get a hold over the cracked code. It`s far from anyone to judge, and that makes it a brilliant cum balanced novel.I appreciate Dan Brown who was able to hold the readers with the mystery till the end.

I`ll give it a 10/10,and its a must read novel even if u dont like such genres.Do rush to the stores and read it and tell me how u liked it.Agree with my view or not?
